(1) Create a document using the provided instructions on Google Docs.

(2)  Review for tomorrow’s learning check on Japan’s Population.  Review the SQ3R you did for homework last night AND the jigsaw sheet from today’s class.

-  Monsoons and the Three Gorges Dam

-  Population in Japan

EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY

 Thank you for checking out my homework web-page.  On my Edublogs home page I have created three blogs that you can participate in.  One is about a 10 minute you tube film and the other two are about some famous movies about Africa.  Anyone who actively participates in one or more of the blogs (makes contributions and responds appropriately to others comments) will earn two points on a learning goal this trimester.  I will add three blogs with each upcoming unit.  Good Luck and Happy Blogging!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

For the third trimester, I will continue to track homework completion on Aspen-  check it out!   Students are responsible for checking ASPEN nightly to make sure they do not owe any work in Social Studies.   

There has been some confusion with what each code means for homework.  The below key is designed to help you understand that more:

IN — The assignment was turned in on time

MISS-  The homework was not turned in

LATE – The homework was turned in but not on time

ABS – The student was late the day the homework was due or assigned and must be turned in the next day or it becomes a MISS.

All homework is exempt from grading and that is why they all are marked EXEMPT.
